Thirty-five Google ratings averaging 4.9 — and one of them tells a very different story. Mult Flooring runs an appointment-only showroom at 240 W Center St in West Bridgewater, installing hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate and tile, refinishing existing floors and selling cabinets; its own site claims twenty years of experience and a service area reaching from the South Shore into Rhode Island and Connecticut. The BBB files the same address under JC Rocha General Construction, with "Mult Flooring" as an alternate name and Jose Carlos Rocha as owner. The everyday flooring work is where the praise is consistent and specific. A 2024 customer had a wood floor installed in a single day at what he called a competitive price; another that year had old carpet pulled and white oak laid, and said the finish was spot on. In a March 2026 review, a repeat customer described a crew of four arriving on time, stripping the flood-damaged basement floor in under ten minutes, then calling him in to decide which way the grain should run. Several reviews are written in Portuguese, and one English-speaking customer noted the crew's limited English while praising the result. Two things deserve a direct question before you sign. The same outfit also takes general construction work, and that is where its worst account comes from: a February 2026 reviewer wrote that two projects failed — a second-floor addition and a staircase — that the work was subcontracted to another company, that the stairs failed inspection with risers off by more than 3/8 of an inch, and that the dispute ended in a court agreement covering only materials. Separately, the BBB grades the business C+ specifically for failing to respond to a complaint filed against it, and its file records incorporation in January 2021 — against the twenty years of experience the website advertises. For flooring bought and installed out of the showroom, the written history behind that is deep and steady. For anything structural — an addition, a staircase, a whole remodel — pin down the scope, who carries inspection responsibility, and whether any part of the job will be handed to a subcontractor, in writing, before work starts.
This was our second time working with them, after the excellent job they did for us the first time replacing our flood-damaged basement floors and walls. Carlos came out for the estimate, and was able to use the supplier's online preview software to show us what the room would look like with the new floor, which made it much easier to pick a finish. After a couple of reschedule dates due to the blizzard, a crew of four(!) showed up right on time for the call, and had the old floor removed in less than ten minutes. They called me in to check which way we wanted the grain positioned, then got to work. Less than two hours later, the new floor and all baseboard molding and trim had been installed. After a little discussion about the transition molding from the adjoining room, the crew showed me a sample of a better looking method, and went out for supplies. It didn't take long, and was a much better look than expected. All the old flooring was cleared out and the room left clean and ready to bring the furniture back in. We don't have any more plans tight now, but will certainly call Mult Flooring Supply when we do. Thank you to the crew fir a job well done.
I have hired this company for couple projects. Both failed! One for a second floor addition, and to build a stairs. The project was sub-contracted to another company. Upon contact Mr Carlos he about the stairs he blamed the framing which was not the case for failing the inspection. The raises we wrong in size and they were glued on top of the temporary ones, causing a more than 3/8 difference, not to mention the rails. This is only the stairs. I am not going to mentioned the floors which was horrible. Upon having a court agreement for only the materials which was half of the cost, i am still battling to receive the rest of the money. Difficult.
They work very quickly and efficiently.
Floors look great, work done efficiently and on time. Workers even helped me move some furniture unrelated to the job. Highly recommend.
I've purchased cabinets and flooring and have been satisfied with the material. I plan to return.
