MyOil4Less is a Fitchburg, MA heating oil delivery company built around a bare-bones, online-only ordering model — create an account, place the order by credit card, and skip the phone call. "The website appears scammy but they are very much a legitimate business that I have used for several years," one customer wrote in a February 2026 review. The company reports 16 years in business and holds a Better Business Bureau A+ grade. Several 2024 reviews describe how the savings work: MyOil4Less doesn't deliver oil itself, but sells at the lowest posted price and bids the order out to whichever vendor will fill it at that price. Reviews describe delivery windows running from a couple of days to about two weeks — a range that sits alongside the website's own claim of 24/7 emergency service. That gap showed up directly for one customer: a December 2023 review reported paying for an order that didn't arrive as scheduled and being unable to reach anyone by phone, and reviews from 2022 and 2023 separately described slow or unclear phone communication about delivery timing. A fit for homeowners planning ahead who want the lowest posted price and don't mind a self-serve, days-out delivery window; those who need oil sooner should confirm timing before ordering.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from MyOil4Less. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.

No frills heating fuel oil company that consistently offers some of the lowest prices in the area. The website appears scammy but they are very much a legitimate business that I have used for several years. They appear to be affiliated with Brideau Oil and Brideau branded trucks have always made the deliveries. The longest I've had to wait was 4 days after placing an order. Daily price/gallon is clearly posted on their website and an account has to be created on their website portal to place a order via credit card. There is no human interaction involved. They are slow to lower prices but quick to raise prices in response to global crude oil market conditions. Follow the market and time the order when your tank goes empty in order to save $$$. The big negative is that I have never been able to reach a person via their phone number. It always goes to a voicemail. I also don't like that they save your credit card on their online portal and there does not seem to be a way to remove it.
Cant ask for much more. Cheap oil, you don't have to deal with anyone. Its a seamless process. Common sense tells you not to order oil when you're about to run out. Looking at these reviews tells me that many people lack that. Been a customer for 3 years. 10/10.
This business gets you the guaranteed lowest prices by selling to you at the lowest price in the area, then bidding out the delivery order to whatever vendor is willing to sell at a that price. Think of it like getting gas for your car…home heating oil is a commodity. The prices are low because they aren’t adding margins for emergency help or “customer service” or overpriced maintenance. They don’t scam customers into “fixed rate” contracts or variable / high cost “automatic” deliveries. The longest I’ve waited for an order is 6 days, my shortest wait was 2 days. If you are a poor planner and / or need immediate oil, then go buy 10g of diesel to tide you over and watch a video on re-starting your burner.
How can anybody give a bad review of this place or say it is a scam? Common sense tells you that if you want to save money, some sacrifice must be made. In this case, you lose the flexibility of getting oil the same day. So what? It could take two or three days for your less expensive oil to arrive. If you are in an emergency situation and need oil...guess what? You are creating a higher demand with your need for immediate oil. This means you SHOULD pay more. So don't get mad when you can't get less expensive oil at the precise moment you need it. That isn't a scam, you just didn't know how to plan. This company is awesome; stop hating.
They've been paid and were supposed to be here yesterday. No one answers the phone. Will file fraud if they don't respond soon...
