New Age Home Improvement is a one-person finish-carpentry and renovation company in Scituate, run by Adrian Facendola, who holds an active Massachusetts Construction Supervisor licence confirmed against the state registry. The Better Business Bureau files the LLC at 604 First Parish Rd, records it as started and incorporated on 26 May 2022 with one employee, and grades it A+. The work homeowners hire him for is consistent and specific: turning attics into finished bonus rooms and offices, finishing basements, remodelling bathrooms, custom window trim and panelling, and composite decking. A 2026 reviewer described a basement with an awkward layout being completely reworked; another described an attic conversion with custom woodworking and detailed finishes, with the other trades coordinated for them. A 2025 reviewer on a bathroom renovation noted he subcontracted only the electrical and plumbing and did the demolition, carpentry, drywall, painting and tiling himself. The company's own site says it declines small repair and handyman jobs. Cost and scheduling come up repeatedly and favourably. A 2025 reviewer whose dining-room ceiling was replaced after a pipe leak said the crew showed up when they said and the job cost what was quoted; a 2024 reviewer on a bathroom remodel described being given a fair assessment and suggestions for keeping costs down, and said the finished room came in as the most affordable of the estimates without a drop in quality. Several reviewers describe returning for further projects. Two things are worth asking about before booking. The site says Adrian Facendola has over 20 years of experience, while the BBB file records the LLC itself from May 2022 — the person's history and the company's are different spans, and neither source reconciles them. And while the Construction Supervisor licence is registry-verified, the Home Improvement Contractor number the site publishes, HIC #205407, is the company's own statement and has not been confirmed against the registry; ask to see it. Worth noting too that seven of the seventeen Google reviews were posted within about three weeks of May 2024, so the record is less evenly spread over time than the total suggests, and one 2026 review is written by a trade partner rather than a homeowner. The fit here is a South Shore homeowner with a defined, carpentry-led project — an attic or basement conversion, a bathroom, trim work or a deck — who wants the same person on site throughout. Confirm the HIC registration and get the scope and price in writing, which by every account is how he already works.
“Adrian from New Age Home Improvement did an amazing job renovating/transforming our attic into a beautiful bonus room/office. He was very easy to work with, had great communication, and collaborated with us throughout the process to bring our vision to life. He also seamlessly coordinated with all subcontractors and made the entire process very easy for us.”
Adrian helped us finish our basement and was awesome to work with. Could not recommend him more! We had a very weird layout and he completely transformed the space and we are so happy with how it turned out. Great communication throughout the entire process and stayed within our budget. My photography skills don’t do it justice!
Adrian from New Age Home Improvement did an amazing job renovating/transforming our attic into a beautiful bonus room/office. He was very easy to work with, had great communication, and collaborated with us throughout the process to bring our vision to life. He also seamlessly coordinated with all subcontractors and made the entire process very easy for us. The space included custom woodworking with detailed finishes and came out better than we imagined. We continue to receive compliments on the space and would love to work with him again on any other projects that come up. We couldn’t recommend him more for anyone looking for renovations and/or carpentry services.
We had the opportunity work with Adrian/New Age Construction to finish our attic and completely redo our master bathroom, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. The quality of work stands out immediately—everything from the framing and layout to the final finishes was done with real attention to detail. The bathroom came out exactly how we envisioned it, and in some cases even better. Clean lines, thoughtful design, and no shortcuts. What really separates Adrian, though, is how easy he is to work with. He communicated clearly throughout the project, showed up when he said he would, and handled any questions or changes without friction. That’s rare in this space. He also kept the job moving without sacrificing quality, and the worksite was consistently clean and organized, which made a big difference with a project of this size. If you’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work and delivers high-quality results, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Adrian. We’d absolutely hire him again and hope to do so in the future!
We’ve had the opportunity to work alongside New Age Home Improvement on two finished attic renovations in Scituate, a finished basement project, and a full bathroom remodel. Each project was well organized and professionally managed from start to finish. They are great to work with on site, communicate clearly, and keep projects moving smoothly. Adrian, in particular, makes the contractor–subcontractor relationship flow easily, which is something you don’t always find in this industry. We look forward to continuing to work together on future projects and would confidently recommend New Age Home Improvement to homeowners looking for quality renovations.
Adrian has my highest recommendation. He is terrific to work with. When things change, as they inevitably do, he's good natured and helpful about adapting, and about finding solutions to unanticipated issues. On our bathroom renovation, he only subbed out the electrical and plumbing work, doing all the demolition, carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, equipment installation, everything else, himself. This kept costs down and the project moving apace. As other reviewers have noted, his craftsmanship and attention to detail are excellent. He's clear, upfront and predictable about costs. On top of that, he cleans up thoroughly every day and is one of the most pleasant and unobtrusive contractors we've ever hired. We'll look forward to hiring him in the future.
