New England Pipe Restoration is a Leominster, MA outfit built around one specialty: fixing sewer and drain pipes without digging up the yard. Using CIPP/UV lining, pipe bursting, and camera inspection, the company — BBB records list it as founded in February 2013, with 6 employees under owner Scott Tessier — works residential, commercial and municipal jobs across eastern and central Massachusetts, including Boston, Newton, Cambridge, Waltham and Worcester. The pattern across 34 Google reviews from 2021 through 2026 (5.0 stars, none negative) is consistent: homeowners facing a costly dig-and-replace quote call Scott, get a camera inspection, and end up with a trenchless fix instead. In a 2023 review, one customer had been quoted $25,000+ to excavate a backed-up main line before Scott's crew relined it in a few hours; in 2021 reviews, others describe the same trade-off saving a mature tree or an old driveway from being torn up. A recent review described a massive sewer break that four other companies assessed — NEPR was the only one willing to attempt the repair from inside the basement, and it worked. The company also stands behind older work: in a January 2026 review, a customer whose liner had been installed back in 2017 described a fresh backup, and staff diagnosed it, confirmed the liner was still intact, and brought camera equipment to the town's DPW to show the actual problem was a municipal pipe, not the home's. Reviewers also point to transparent pricing — an initial quote based on satellite footage, adjusted after an in-person inspection, with the final invoice tied to actual footage installed rather than a padded estimate. Its BBB profile carries an A+ grade with accreditation since 2018 and no complaints or government actions on file. One thing to square away: the company's website claims over 15 years in business, which runs ahead of BBB's listed 2013 founding date — worth a quick question if the company's history matters to you. A strong first call for a cracked or root-choked sewer or drain line before agreeing to a full dig-up — ask about the trenchless option and the camera inspection Scott's team uses to scope the job before quoting a price.
“New England Pipe Restoration repaired and lined my sewer pipe in 2024 within a day. They were great.”
“et a few quotes, but if it's a replacement depending on the circumstances you might look into drain lining, they blow a tube in the existing pipe that's coated in an epoxy and hardens into a new structural pipe pretty cool. Had good experiences with: https://nepipe.com/residential-services/”
Proper professionals. Responsive smart and protective of one’s home. Just a pleasure to work with.
We had an excellent experience working with New England Pipe Restoration. They responded incredibly fast to help our clients with a serious plumbing issue that could have caused major delays to our project. Scott and Karen provided impeccable and attentive service from start to finish. Communication was clear, scheduling was quick, and the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. We truly appreciate their support and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and responsive service.
I had New England Pipe come out to give me a quote. I ended up going with a different vendor, but it was really a coin flip. New England Pipe sent out an engineer. He was courteous, cleaned up after himself and explained the process. I would absolutely recommend these guys for lining your pipe versus ripping and replacing.
I recently had my sewer line professionally lined by New England Pipe Restoration, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The job was completed quickly and efficiently, and the entire crew was professional from start to finish. Scott, the owner, was especially great to work with. He took the time to answer all of my questions and was always quick to respond, which made the whole process much easier and gave me a lot of confidence in the work being done. Overall, a smooth, hassle-free experience with high-quality results. I’d definitely recommend New England Pipe Restoration to anyone needing this type of work done.
New England Pipe Restoration was a life saver when we learned we had a massive break in our sewer line. We had four companies assess the situation and two of the others were highly recommended from people we knew. It appeared the break was near the foundation wall and only New England Pipe Restoration would attempt from inside the basement; all the others needed to go through the sidewalk. After digging it turned out the break was beyond the foundation wall and NEPR still successfully repaired the break from inside the foundation. Not only did they attempt something no one else would, their estimate was tens of thousands less than some of the others. Their quote was the lowest and even though they ran into major challenges, they stuck to their quote. Scott, the president, was incredibly supportive and responsive throughout the project that took place over two months (two massive snow accumulations delaying visits). We would absolutely use them again without hesitation.
