Most people find New England Pipe Restoration on the worst day of their homeowning life — the sewer line has collapsed, the basement is wet, and someone has already quoted five figures to dig up the front yard. This Leominster company's entire pitch is that the digging is usually avoidable: it lines the failed pipe from the inside, using cured-in-place and UV-cured liners, pipe bursting, and camera inspection, for homes, businesses and municipalities across eastern and central Massachusetts. The alternative-to-excavation story is the one customers tell over and over. A homeowner writing in April 2026 had four companies look at a break near the foundation wall; the other three wanted to go through the sidewalk, and this was the only crew willing to work from inside the basement — where the break turned out to be beyond the wall, and they repaired it from inside anyway. In a February 2023 review, another customer had been quoted for 50 feet of lining when the driveway ran 80; the crew found the clean-out, cleared roots the full 118 feet to the city pipe, and finished by noon. A December 2021 reviewer credited the lining with saving a large tree they hadn't wanted to cut down. Owner Scott Tessier is named in review after review, and the follow-through is documented past the invoice: a January 2026 reviewer had a liner installed back in 2017, hit a backup nine years later, and had Scott and a technician return, camera the line, and demonstrate to the town DPW that the fault was in the municipal pipe rather than the house. Its BBB page carries an A+ and accreditation dating to 2018, with no complaints or government actions listed. Google sits at 5.0 across 53 ratings, and 34 written reviews stretch from 2021 through 2026 with seven in the last six months. On Reddit in January 2026, a north-shore commenter said the company lined their sewer pipe in 2024 inside a day. Two things are worth pinning down on the call. Their scope is genuinely narrow — a June 2025 reviewer described three of their people coming out, concluding the job wasn't work they do, and handing over referrals instead — so describe your problem before booking a visit. And the pricing runs in two steps: a 2025 reviewer explained the initial number comes off Google Earth footage, gets adjusted after the camera inspection, and the final invoice reflects actual footage lined. That's transparent, but it means the first figure you hear is not the last. If your problem is a cracked, root-invaded or offset sewer or drain line and you'd rather not lose the driveway, this is the specialist to call. Ask for the camera footage before and after — customers here routinely got it.

I had New England Pipe come out to give me a quote. I ended up going with a different vendor, but it was really a coin flip. New England Pipe sent out an engineer. He was courteous, cleaned up after himself and explained the process. I would absolutely recommend these guys for lining your pipe versus ripping and replacing.

I recently had my sewer line professionally lined by New England Pipe Restoration, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The job was completed quickly and efficiently, and the entire crew was professional from start to finish. Scott, the owner, was especially great to work with. He took the time to answer all of my questions and was always quick to respond, which made the whole process much easier and gave me a lot of confidence in the work being done. Overall, a smooth, hassle-free experience with high-quality results. I’d definitely recommend New England Pipe Restoration to anyone needing this type of work done.

New England Pipe Restoration was a life saver when we learned we had a massive break in our sewer line. We had four companies assess the situation and two of the others were highly recommended from people we knew. It appeared the break was near the foundation wall and only New England Pipe Restoration would attempt from inside the basement; all the others needed to go through the sidewalk. After digging it turned out the break was beyond the foundation wall and NEPR still successfully repaired the break from inside the foundation. Not only did they attempt something no one else would, their estimate was tens of thousands less than some of the others. Their quote was the lowest and even though they ran into major challenges, they stuck to their quote. Scott, the president, was incredibly supportive and responsive throughout the project that took place over two months (two massive snow accumulations delaying visits). We would absolutely use them again without hesitation.
