New Frontiers Moving works out of Terminal Street in Charlestown, and the jobs its customers wrote about are the hard ones: Boston to Minnesota, Boston to St. Paul, the North End out to Salem. Its Google page averages 4.9 across twenty ratings. The written accounts all sit between 2016 and 2018, and they are unusually specific about the crews. A customer who moved to St. Paul in October 2016 said everything was wrapped and arrived intact. In July 2017 another long-haul customer had their load delivered within a few days with nothing damaged. That same month a local mover credited Joey and Mihai with taking a bed apart quickly, working through a hot day, and — the detail that sticks — being kind to pets a previous crew had told them to shut in the bathroom. A August 2017 customer moving from the North End to Salem singled out on-time arrival and care with furniture and the house itself. The one dissent is worth reading closely. In September 2018 a customer gave three stars: the movers were accommodating and clearly cared about the job, but that move included a forgotten suitcase, a broken bookcase and a three-hour late start. The catch for anyone hiring today is age. Everything written here is at least seven years old, so it describes how the company worked then rather than how it works now, and the movers named in those accounts may be long gone. For a long-distance move out of Boston, the pattern in those years — wrapped, intact, delivered in days — is the right pattern to want. Ask who will actually be on your crew, how damage claims are handled, and get the arrival window in writing; the late start in that 2018 review is the failure mode this kind of job really has.

Alex and Alex were both very nice and clearly care about their customer. Unfortunately, there were a couple mishaps during our move (forgetting a suitcase, breaking a bookcase, being 3 hours late) so we couldn't give them a high review. They were very accommodating and made a point to makeup for the mishaps! They were clearly stressed as we moved on the busiest day of the year, but were always very professional and nice!
New Frontiers is the best company, especially Alex and Cornel. I used them for a move from North End Boston to Salem. The guys are amazing, hardworking, friendly and very careful with the furniture and my house. They showed up on time and their customer service is awesome. I recommend to anyone who wants a company to move. I will certainly use this company again for their professionalism, impressive attitude and very good prices!!!!!!!!
Joey and Mihai were my movers. These guys were great. Took apart my bed in no time and were very nice to my pets which previous movers the last time I moved told me to keep in the bathroom. They worked hard on a hot day with no break, were pleasant and very competent in their craft with a very fair price. Will only use them from now on! Thanks guys

Another Alex and Cornel were there for the loading and delivered my stuff within a few days. Fast, hardworking and most importantly no damages to my furniture. They made life easy during s stressful time! Much appreciated!!
