New Generation Custom Homes

This is a longer review for anyone considering buying a home built by New Generation or hiring them for a renovation. We approached New Generation when we were looking for a new construction home and were introduced to one of their projects just as it was getting started. We stepped in as the buyers early in the process, and it became a "semi-custom" home that blended the original project specifications with many of our own custom changes. Right from the beginning, we knew we were going to build a great house. We came up with a lot of ideas throughout the project, some of them definitely outside the box, and Marcelo was always patient, open-minded and willing to work through them with us. Rather than simply saying something couldn't be done, he took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve and found ways to bring our vision to life. The end result is a truly one-of-a-kind home that reflects exactly what we had hoped for. Building this house was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives, and we're incredibly grateful for everything New Generation did to make it happen. Beyond our own project, we've had the opportunity to visit several of their other homes, and the quality of their work consistently stands out. The craftsmanship, attention to detail and overall finish are noticeably above what we've seen from many other builders. He uses high-quality materials, offers fair and honest allowances for custom selections, and is constantly updating his specifications to keep his homes competitive and ahead of the market. The demand for his homes speaks for itself. One thing that impressed us most is Marcelo's mindset. He's never satisfied with "good enough." He's constantly looking for ways to improve his work, refine details and learn from every project. Even with decades of experience, he's always open to feedback and new ideas if they lead to a better result. He doesn't sacrifice quality for speed, and he holds both himself and everyone working on the project to a very high standard. Even after closing, Marcelo has continued to stand behind his work. Whenever we've had questions or needed help, he's been responsive and genuinely committed to making things right. That level of support has given us tremendous peace of mind as homeowners and says a lot about the kind of builder he is. Building a home is one of the biggest investments most people will ever make. Looking back, we wouldn't hesitate to choose New Generation again, and we'd confidently recommend Marcelo to anyone looking for a builder who truly cares about the quality of his work and the people he's building for.
