Newton Highlands Handyman Care is a handyman on Needham Street in Newton Highlands, and a listed member of the Newton Highlands Chamber of Commerce. Beyond that, there isn't much out there about them yet. On Google the business carries a 3.7 average across just nine ratings — a middling number on thin volume, not enough to lean on hard in either direction. There's a single written review, and it's a tricky one to read. It describes an HVAC job — a recurring thermostat fault traced to a missing C-wire that several visits never resolved — but the reviewer names "Milton HVAC," not this business, so it's unclear the complaint is even about them. Worth knowing it exists; not worth treating as settled. If you're weighing them, ask directly about the specific work you need and for a couple of recent local references. The online history here is too thin to stand in for that conversation.

I do not recommend Milton HVAC based on my experience. Over the course of several visits, they were unable to resolve a recurring thermostat issue in my apartment. Despite multiple appointments, the underlying problem—a missing C-wire supplying constant power—was never addressed. The vendor also exhibited poor communication: calls and emails were often ignored, and instructions given by their technicians were unclear or contradictory. Additionally, a replacement thermostat was installed that was of lower quality than the original, and the power issue persisted, causing repeated heating failures during winter. The problem was ultimately resolved by a different contractor, and I now have documentation showing that the prior work by Milton did not fix the issue. Given this experience, I cannot recommend their services.
