A knob-and-tube rewire, a 200-amp service upgrade and a 100-amp feed to a shop: that was one 2026 customer's job for Nicholas Electrical Company. That customer said the work was done cleanly, with Nick's brother and father-in-law on the job and Cameron appearing to lead the project. The Winslow company lists Winslow and Augusta as its service area. Its website names residential and commercial wiring, electrical upgrades, generator installation and repair, troubleshooting and service calls, heat pump installation and replacement, and electrical inspections. A recent customer had an electrical service upgrade and a new breaker box installed, and said the company stayed communicative when CMP cancelled the shut-off date without telling either of them. A recent customer said two non-working exterior GFI outlets and six rusted exterior lights were replaced, and that Riger fixed fixtures that had been installed incorrectly. A recent heat pump customer said the installers came when they said they would. A recent customer said the work was done quickly and an underlying problem was found and repaired that would have made the problem come back. In 2025, a customer said they replaced a main service wire and meter box and installed a heat pump on the same day, working with CMP to arrange the shut-off. A 2025 customer said apprentices worked on their 200-amp service upgrade, new outlets and switches, and sorting out an old panel. A 2024 customer said vent fans were installed in two bathrooms sooner and cheaper than expected. In 2023, a customer said the company completely rewired their camp. A 2022 customer said Nick and the crew wired a new generator switch and lights in the garage and attic after some initial communication issues. In 2023, a customer said a quote of $85 an hour for two hours of work turned out to mean $85 an hour per person, and the invoice came in higher than expected.

Came out heat pumps in when they said they would. Worked efficiently to install them and I am very pleased with the professionalism of the installers. The heat pumps work great, and even got a call to set up the annual cleaning. Excellent company
Had an issue with some outlets and a light fixiture, they got it resolved quickly. Great Company!
I had an electrical service upgrade, new breaker box installation, and a few other smaller jobs performed by this company. They are professional, reliable, and very communicative, even when issues arise that are outside their control and mine - like CMP canceling the shut off date without telling either of us. The services provided are outstanding, the technicians are responsible and respectful, and the affordability is a breath of fresh air. Nicholas Electrical will always have my business!
