Wire It Up Electric is a Belgrade electrical shop holding a 4.9-star Google rating from 210 ratings. Its Maine electrician license, number MS60021399, is active on the state registry, with Dylan S. Hawes as the holder of record. The company's website names Master Electrician Dylan Hawes, says it has been in business seven years, and lists a service area that includes Augusta, Waterville, Winslow, Gardiner, China and Boothbay. One recent customer had a 200 amp service upgrade along with new receptacles and new AFCI/GFCI breakers, and said Issac and Jesse chased an unrelated wire issue after the work was done, then diagnosed and fixed it. A customer who wanted an outlet added in a garage said the work was done in an hour, and the workbench was moved back afterward. A basement wiring and lighting update was completed a week after the estimate, and that customer said they can see into every corner of the basement now. Dylan handled an EV charger install for one customer, who mentioned fair pricing and clean work. A 2026 customer said Cody fixed a floor-heating problem and wrote instructions on the breaker panel in case the floors stopped heating again. A 2025 customer who works as a home inspector said the main panel was replaced along with a generator hook up, with all breakers replaced by Square D breakers. A 2024 customer said the garage service was upgraded to 200A to support an EV charger and shop equipment, with new conduit, wiring and a new panel. And a 2023 customer said that in the middle of a power outage, Wire It Up answered the phone and had them connected to their generator in a couple of hours.
I needed 2 old lights removed on the outside of my house, and a new one installed. They were quick but efficient, and kept me informed about what they were doing. They used silicone to seal the small holes from the old lights because my siding project may not happen until the spring.I will be using them for more electrical work.
The guys showed up on time for the appointment and were pleasant throughout the day even when they found they were repairing poorly installed equipment. Would definitely use them again!
Cody is great and very accommodating. Hard worker
Two great techs who solved our problem quickly and thoroughly checked all circuits for potential load issues. Great job.
The electrician who serviced my home was there precisely on time, as I was told, his name was Jeff, and he came in and put a vanity light above my mirror in no time flat. Absolutely excellent service, fast, friendly, and he made sure he left everything just as he found it. Highly recommend this company.
