In November 2024 a Google reviewer needed their heating system fixed the day before Thanksgiving and, after calling several people, wrote that these guys cared enough and made it happen, keeping the reviewer's family warm through the holiday. Bruce J Willette Co is at 39 Western Ave in Waterville, Maine; its website says it installs and repairs oil and gas boilers, ductless heat pumps, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, and offers 24/7 emergency service. A Maine electrician licence, MS60004937, is active in the name of Bruce J. Willette. In February 2023 a Google reviewer wrote that they had been calling on the company for a few years for everything from electrical to plumbing and heating. In January 2023 a one-star Google reviewer wrote that the installation of a new burner and water heater was done correctly, but that he recommended they get off boiler heat to save money and assured them several times that a $1600 water heater could handle a 3-unit home. It could not; the reviewer said the manufacturer found the water heater was not rated for the home, that he wanted to charge to look at it, and then wanted another $3400 to correct the recommendation. Google shows 3.3 stars from 11 ratings.
After calling several people to fix my heating system the day before Thanksgiving, these guys cared enough and made it happen. Thank you so much for the top notch work you did to keep my family warm through the holiday.
I've been calling on these guys for a few years now, everything from electrical to plumbing and heating. Always the best. Top notch.
The installation of the new burner and water heater was done correctly. The issue came when he recommended us getting off of boiler heat to save money. He recommended a $1600 water heater and assured us multipole times that the water heater could handle a 3 unit home with no issues, well it couldn't. He wanted to charge me to go look at the water heater to see why it wasn't working. Come to find out the manufacture said the water heater he installed was not rated for the home, he then wanted to charge me another $3400 to correct his poor recommendation and offered us nothing to fix his mistake. Will never hire another boiler guy, will only use Fabian for future contract work.
