Ben installed a Bosch heat pump that switches to propane below 35 degrees, added central air with three zones and ran a lot of new ductwork into a first-floor renovation — straight, level, insulated and sealed at the joints. He called the job very expensive but a fair price for that workmanship. Response times come up as often as installs. A household that woke on a cold winter morning with no heat or hot water had a new furnace in the next day; a failed central AC brought the owner out the same day; a mini-split throwing an error code after summer power cuts was fixed within a couple of hours. One 2026 customer first called Nichols to repair another company's poor installation, had the underlying problems identified, and has kept the team on for annual maintenance since. A small, owner-led operation with an unusually clean record for heating conversions, mini-splits and emergency heat. Ask early about the price band — the workmanship is not the cheap option — and about what the annual maintenance covers.

Ben and his crew are great. Very detail oriented. They removed an old oil tank, water heater, and furnace and replaced it with a propane burner.
