Nick Eaborn Construction LLC describes itself on Angi as family owned and says it does all phases of roofing, drywall, flooring and general carpentry. A November 2017 Angi customer said Nick and his team took off the roof of their carport to avoid damaging it, did the work and put it back, and that Nick came back after the job to put the heat tape back up on the garage. That customer said the crew had put the underlayment down before a big storm hit mid-job, and that the price could not be beaten by two other competitors. Nick and his team did a very thorough and quality job. It looks great, and they made an effort in some large and small ways. They were concerned about damaging the roof of the carport, so they took off the roof, did the work and replaced it (Suntuff). I had heat tape on several parts of the garage to correct occasional ice dams, and Nick came back after the job was done and put them back up. They worked to keep the number of nails in the grass to a minimum, and cleaned up after themselves. If there were any challenges, it was controlling the nail population on the ground. Everybody worked hard (including my wife) to use the magnet to clean them up. We also got hit by a big storm in the middle of the job, cutting power to many places and downing trees on our road. This slowed the work a little. We had a few small leaks during the storm, but nothing bad, as they had put the underlayment down before the storm hit. All of this work was done for a very competitive price that couldn't be beat by two other competitors, and it is not possible to control the weather. My wife and I are happy we found him on Angie's List.
Nick was very fast and efficient! Had most of it done the first afternoon and just finished up a few things the next day. He was very thorough and finished what seemed to me, a pretty big job, in a very quick timeframe and communicated very well and easily.
Nick and Nick (yes, two guys with the same name) did a fantastic job in a very reasonable amount of time, just 3 days from start to finish. The price was fair with no hidden or additonal fees. When they were finished the work area was clear of any debris related to this job. Great guys!
