Adding a second floor while a family stayed in the house is one of the jobs customers describe at MVP Home Improvements. A May 2026 Google reviewer says Marc and his team added a large roof dormer, two full bedrooms, a full bathroom, an office nook, and storage to their New Hampshire home. The homeowner describes Marc as regularly present on site and available for questions, and praises the finishing crew's trim, doors, and final details.
MVP says it is a second-generation residential and commercial contractor based in Windham, serving southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley. Its website says current owner Marc Blanchard runs the business his father started more than 40 years ago. The company advertises new construction, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, siding, roofing, windows, and doors.
Other customers describe work ranging from siding to separate living space. In an October 2023 Google review, a homeowner says MVP built a 1,100-square-foot in-law cottage with a basement, kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and a three-season sun porch. They say Marc managed the building process from beginning to end, joined early meetings with the architect, and met with them regularly on site. A June 2025 reviewer describes new vinyl siding, a new roof, and new garage doors on a garage, praising scheduling and coordination. In January 2025, another customer praised the team's work on a Trex deck replacement.
Communication also comes up in a May 2026 review of a project involving a home and barn; that customer describes the team as accommodating and clean. A December 2025 reviewer says a laboratory renovation was completed before a tight deadline and under budget. Google lists a 4.9-star average from 35 ratings. BBB lists MVP as accredited with an A+ grade. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active.
There is a specific complaint about getting an estimate. In a March 2024 Google review, a prospective customer says the owner visited, discussed the project, took photographs, and promised a quote within a few days. The reviewer says more than two weeks passed without a quote or response, despite a follow-up call.
