Nick's Home Improvement is a home improvement business. According to information the company provided to the Better Business Bureau, it offers interior and exterior home improvements such as roofing, siding, additions, windows, doors, plumbing, floors and remodeling. A Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 165894, is expired on the state registry; the holder of record is Nick's Affordable Home Improvement, Inc. In a 2023 review, a customer wrote that the workers did a sloppy job, that the customer had to pay more for their mistakes, and that the job took longer than promised. A 2022 review called the services good and professional. In a 2020 review, a customer said Nick came to check out the job and gave a quote that took a while, and then the customer never heard from him again.
Would not recommend at all. His workers did a sloppy job and seemed like they had no clue what they were doing. So many things went wrong in their end and we had to shell out more money for their mistakes. His workers would arrive early in the morning and they’d sit in their cars for over an hour. This job took a lot longer then promised and they wasted so much time! We asked Nick to give another quote for another project and quoted us a ridiculous amount because he didn’t want to work with us again.
Good, professional services
I was very excited to have Nick do a project for us but sadly after he came to check out the job, he gave a quote (which took a while) and then we never heard from him again. I gave him many opportunities to reply too.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Nick's Home Improvement. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Estimated range
$23,000 – $35,000
Typical remodeling project around $29,000
