Norway & Sons is a Barre-based electrical contractor, as a local news site has put it, and the company says on its website that it has been in business for 33 years. A 2025 Reddit commenter named Norway among a couple of electrical shops in the Barre area that do work everywhere. A 2023 Google customer said the company responded quickly to their needs despite flood damage to its own facility, and called it good work at a fair price.
“Every electrical shop will be looking for help, Benoit Norway is just a couple in the barre area that does work everywhere.”
“The state hired Barre-based electrical contractor Norway & Sons to complete the work. It brought on Northern Reliability of Waterbury to build the 250 kWh battery, which is as powerful as three Teslas.”
“The electrical contracting business was one of many impacted by the flooding of 2023. Mud coated their offices after it flooded.”
“Norway & Sons in Barre also has a lot of cleanup ahead. The electrician company has been located on North Main Street for 30 years and watched their offices flood via video camera.”
Our friends at Norway responded quickly to our needs despite flood damage to their own facility. Great work, fair price. Thanks!
