NVS Affordable Painting carries a 5-star Google rating from 38 ratings, and a recent Google customer put the appeal plainly: Nick showed up when he said he would and took less time than he predicted. A 2026 customer described a complete room paint and floor job, said the owner started each day by coming to the site to discuss progress and next steps, and said the few hiccups along the way were corrected. That 2026 customer's one disappointment was the lack of dust mitigation and containment. A 2026 customer said Nick, the owner, did a final walkthrough at the end of the job. The older jobs are mostly interiors. A 2023 customer with an antique home described stripping old wallpaper, smooth mudding on walls and ceilings and finish paint in the dining room and entryway, and said they asked the company back to do the exterior. A 2022 customer said Nick repainted a condo they purchased, down to replacing the hinges on the cabinets, and communicated frequently while they were in Pittsburgh. A 2022 customer hired Nick to paint a kitchen, hallway and bathroom, a job that customer said included carpentry work where a built-in ironing board was removed. In 2021, a customer said rain held the job up, but the crew returned when weather permitted and finished before a family gathering.
One word to describe NV Painting??? OUTSTANDING!!!! VERY professional yet very personable. They definitely aren't afraid of hard work. A family business worth every penny! Im expecting them back soon.... and again in the spring!
Nick does excellent work and I trust his judgement. What makes him standout from many contractors is that he showed up when he said he would and actually took less time than he predicted.
I would give 4.5 stars but that’s not an option. We had a great crew and the owner started each day by coming to the sight to discuss progress and next steps. There were a few hiccups along the way but everything they found was corrected and completed professionally. My only disappointment was the lack of dust mitigation and containment, but we could have shut some doors as well, so that’s not all on the crew. This was a complete room paint and floor. Looks great now. I would use them in the future for projects.
I recently hired NV Painting, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, their team was professional, punctual, and attentive to detail. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered a finished product that exceeded my expectations. The quality of their work really stands out—clean lines, smooth coverage, and no mess left behind. They were respectful of my space and made sure everything was properly prepped and protected before starting. Communication throughout the project was clear and consistent, which made the whole process stress-free. If you’re looking for reliable painters who take pride in their work, NV Painting is a great choice. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend their services.
Nick (the owner) and his guys did a wonderful job from start to finish. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. The room they worked on looks absolutely amazing—I couldn’t be happier with the results. He took the time to do a final walkthrough to make sure I was completely satisfied, which I really appreciated. Nick was respectful, professional, and completed the work efficiently and in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and a reliable contractor.
