That 2025 customer also said John helped them pick through samples to find a stain and sealer to match the home. A 2025 reviewer wrote that their living and dining room floors had not been done in over 40 years and looked brand new after the stain and polyurethane finish, and that John kept them told of the times he was coming and going. A 2024 customer said John and his colleague did neat work, on time and at a fair price, and gave advice on how to maintain the floor going forward. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0560149, as inactive, held by John T O'Connor.

Recently had O’Connors Brothers (John) refinish our living/dining room wood floors. They did an outstanding job prepping the floors for the stain and polyurethane finish. The floors have not been done in over 40 years and they now look brand new. John kept us abreast of the process and the times he was coming and going.
