Old Yankee Tree Services does tree work for homeowners. A recent customer says Justin and his team have done tree work at their house twice, that both times the work was exceptional, and that they show up on time and leave the place looking immaculate. In a 2025 review, a customer said the company took down a large maple close to their house, with large branches over the house and deck, working in 98-degree heat in an area that was tough to get to and next to a slope. That 2025 customer said the tree was taken down in pieces without damage to the property and the debris was cleaned up nicely. In another 2025 review, a customer said a team of three (Curt, Brian and Justin) took down a clump of four 40-year-old birch trees, three of which were leaning over the house, in 2.5 hours from start to finish, for a good price. That 2025 reviewer said the yard was cleaned up nicely and the trunks were stacked to become firewood later. In a 2021 review, a customer said they had used the company twice and called Jeff and his sons good people to deal with. In a 2018 review, a customer called Jeff on time as promised and very talented, said the site was cleaned up beautifully, and called the pricing very fair.
“Jeff Dearborn of Old Yankee Tree Services during the Wood for Warmth work day at the Hopkinton-Webster Transfer Station in Hopkinton on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017.”
Justin and his team have done tree work at my house twice. Both times the work was exceptional. They show up on time, get the work done, and leave the place looking immaculate. If you need tree work done, these are your guys.
We had Old Yankee Tree Service take down a large maple tree that was close to our house with large branches over our house and deck. They arrived as scheduled and worked in extreme heat (98 degrees) and oppressive humidity. The area was tough to get to and adjacent to a slope. They were very professional and took the tree down in pieces without damage to our property. They cleaned up the debris nicely. Would highly recommend them.
Old Yankee Tree Service just took down a clump of 4 40-year-old birch trees, 3 of which were leaning over my house. The team of 3 (Curt, Brian, and Justin) were professional, thorough, and friendly... all for a good price. Start to finish, 2.5 hours. The yard was cleaned up nicely, and they stacked the trunks for me to turn into fire wood later. Highly recommended!
I have used Old Yankee Tree Service twice and will be calling them tomorrow. Jeff and his sons are good people to deal with.
Fantastic firm to deal with. Jeff has old New England values. Totally proficient, on time as promised, very talented, and cleaned up beautifully. Very fair pricing. Will certainly use again!
