In July 2026, one called on a Friday afternoon after a major chimney problem turned up, had someone out the next morning and had it fixed Monday. In June 2026, another called late in the day for a liner estimate and got an appointment less than 24 hours later. The Leominster company says it was founded in 2010 by Bryan LeBlanc, a retired firefighter, and does chimney cleaning, inspection, repair and relining, masonry repair, stove installation and dryer-vent cleaning across Worcester County. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#201587) and Bryan S. LeBlanc's construction supervisor licence (CS-106348) are active on the state registry. The BBB rates it A+, accredited. Google shows 4.9 stars from 632 ratings. In June 2026, a homeowner with a chimney that was coming apart said two technicians came the same day and within an hour wrote up two tiers of quotes they could mix and match, without pressure to decide. An April 2026 customer said the crew fixed safety and structural problems a home inspector had missed, starting the day the work order was signed and finishing the next morning. In another April 2026 review, a customer said that when ridge roofing near the chimney came loose a few weeks after a liner and brickwork job, the company sent a team member right away to tack it down. A February 2026 reviewer said the crew installed a new liner high on a slate roof in bad weather. In a May 2026 review, a customer said they booked a chimney cleaning, but the crew did a full inspection while only the reviewer's husband was home and found several issues they said needed immediate fixing; the husband felt pressured, and the cleaning, new liner, cap and flashing work came to $10,000. In a December 2023 review, a customer said a scheduled cleaning never happened, no one called to reschedule, they were told moving a woodstove in place since 1940 would cost over $5,000, and the basement cleanout door was later found packed with creosote that had not been there before the visit.

Anyone who says young folks these days aren't willing to do hard manual work hasn't met the crew at On Duty Chimney. Reed, Brett, Alex, Austin and Sean came out to re-built my chimney in the August heat. They were very professional and very skilled at their trade. I'm looking forward to the next cold winter with a safe fireplace and chimney. Thanks also to Grace and Spencer who walked me through the begining of this process. Outstanding!
I couldn't be happier with the service I received for my dryer vent cleaning. The workers arrived on time, were extremely professional, courteous and respectful of my home. The took the time to explain what they were doing and kept me updated throughout the entire process. They did a thorough job cleaning the dryer vent. I appreciated how clean and organized they left everything when they were finished-there was no mess left behind at all. From start to finish, the experience was excellent, and the communication and attention to detail really stood out. Everyone was great to work with, and I will definitely be using them again in the future.
We had a great experience with On Duty Chimney. Jimmy, John, and Alan came out this morning to inspect our chimney and discuss options for installing a flue liner. They were incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of our questions and presented three different recommendations at three different price points without any pressure. We really appreciated their honesty, patience, and willingness to explain everything so we could make an informed decision. We’re still deciding which option is the best fit for us, but we were very impressed with their service and would highly recommend On Duty Chimney to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional chimney company.
Very neat and proficient work of removal of my old wood burning stove, and careful and proficient installation of my new wood burning stove. We were very pleased with the service and work.
Everything about this experience was positive starting with Grace, to Anthony who performed the inspection and initial cleaning, and Christian and team who installed the new chimney liner. And this was all accomplished immediately, no wait…inspection on Monday, Liner installation on Tuesday. Efficient and excellent customer service.
