One Stop Painting & Renovating is a Plymouth crew, run by Jeff Cohen, that homeowners call for painting and the smaller renovation work that comes with it — cabinet refinishing, trim carpentry, power washing, and the odd repair that falls outside a strict scope. In September 2025, a local news photo caught its crew — named as Butchie Surette, Wes Plante and Wayne Plante — painting the exterior of an 1855 church in South Carver, the kind of visible, careful work that shows up again and again in its reviews. What separates the record from a generic five-star painting company is the specificity people reach for. One customer called for an estimate on house and deck cleaning and, within an hour, got a quote from Jeff Cohen spelling out exactly what to expect; when she asked for the job done in two days with a crew arriving by 7:30 a.m., the doorbell rang at precisely that time — a level of punctuality she contrasted with the usual two-to-four-hour arrival window other companies give. Elsewhere, the crew has restored a dark cherry cabinet's original hardware to its brass finish, replaced six doors and repainted a first floor's walls, ceilings and trim together, and repainted a funeral home under a tight schedule without disrupting operations. When a door jammed shut mid-move, the company sent someone over the same day and came back to finish the repair after the family had already relocated. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and its BBB listing is an A+, accredited rating. Reviewers repeatedly bring up Jeff Cohen's community involvement — running local charitable fundraisers and organizing the town's Fourth of July parade — which shows up nearly as often as praise for the paint job itself. Not every account is glowing: in a 2021 review, one customer said a call was never returned, though nothing since then repeats that complaint, and the pattern across dozens of more recent, detailed reviews runs the opposite way — consistent communication and follow-through. For a painting job that might also need cabinet work, trim carpentry, or a power wash, the range of jobs described here — and the precision people describe getting a quote and a crew on schedule — are the strongest reasons to call them.
“Workers from painting contractor One Stop Painting – Butchie Surette, Wes Plante and Wayne Plante – of Plymouth are painting the exterior and doors on Wednesday Sept. 3, 2025, at the non-denominational Union Church in South Carver, which was built in 1855.”
I have an antique home in Plymouth and my bride and I trust Jeff and his team so much, so when it needed a bath (powerwashing) One Stop’s had to be our choice! The crew did an amazing job!! Thanks so much!
There’s two things that I loved about working with one stop overall. The first was that the outcome of the job came out incredible they not only went above and beyond with what we requested, but the attention to detail was awesome. Second, which I believe is underrated with most service based businesses is that the level of professionalism was a 10 out of 10. Most times when I call any type of service, there seems to be just a lack of how to handle customers properly and Jeff and team did it perfectly. I’m glad I found my go to paint.
We had our kitchen cabinet doors repainted. One Stop did a beautiful job of sanding and repainting. Brian was great to work with, and even did some extra caulking at no charge. The price was reasonable and we are very happy with the results.
We hired One Stop Painting to paint walls, ceilings and trim for most of our first floor. We also had 6 doors replaced. We are so happy with the results! We can’t say enough about Jay, Aiden, Mark and of course, Jeff. Thank you for your great work!
One Stop Painting did an incredible job painting our cabinets. They were the only ones I was going to call for this job and again they proved that they can deliver a high quality product. Throughout the process, they constantly communicate and keep the work area clean.
