Only Heat Pumps Maine

Only Heat Pumps Maine does what the name says: heat pump installation, service and cleaning, run out of Portland. Its website lists a service area from South Portland and Scarborough to Yarmouth, Cumberland and Freeport, and on Angi the company describes itself as a fully insured team with just under a decade of experience. Google shows 5 stars from 104 ratings, and its BBB page is an A+ with accreditation. The longest Google review, from September 2026, came from a customer who noted how widely heat pump installers vary in skill. Lucas and his crew explained the options clearly, including ones inside and outside the family's budget, with the advantages and drawbacks of each; on install day the crew was efficient, polite and clean. Other 2026 Google reviewers called the cost competitive and the company courteous and affordable, and two said they will have the company back next year, one to clean and inspect a heat pump. It also takes on heating breakdowns. In a March 2026 review, a customer whose heating system broke while they were away said the team found a solution that met their budget and kept them informed the whole way. In two December 2023 Angi reviews, customers described furnace repairs: one wrote that Cody responded right away, showed up within a few hours and knew what needed replacing on the furnace, and another said the technician explained everything that was wrong before fixing it. The website says it offers free estimates.
