Orion Tree Company is a tree service that says it serves Litchfield County, Connecticut, and its website lists towns including Torrington, Litchfield, Winchester, Harwinton and New Hartford. A 2025 customer named Mike Strubhar as the owner and said he had done work for them multiple times, taking down very mature large trees that were diseased, partially or fully damaged. That 2025 customer said he still climbs trees to take them down in sections, and that on two occasions Orion Tree cleared out tree debris in the wooded part of their lot. A 2025 customer from Winsted said Orion Tree Service trimmed their front bushes, fertilized the backyard bushes, removed the weeds and cut back their apricot trees, and wrote that they had been using him for 2 years. A 2025 customer said Mike used only the necessary equipment and called the pricing honest and fair. A 2025 customer said they cleaned up so well that the yard looked better than it did before they came. A recent customer called the price very reasonable and said they would recommend the company to others.
