A homeowner pulled the cement pavers and pea stone off an old patio himself in May 2025, then found the area had to be dug deeper and graded properly — more than a week of his own time, between work and weather. Oz took it over. That is the split in this company: weekly mowing and spring cleanups on one side, real stone and site work on the other. OZ Landscaping is based in Lawrence and covers the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire — Andover, Methuen, Haverhill, Lowell, Salem and Windham among the towns it lists — doing grounds maintenance, design and build, patios, walkways and stone walls, seasonal cleanups and snow removal. The hardscape carries the most detail. A June 2024 customer had a 24-by-18-foot patio laid along a fence, a job that needed a lot of brick cutting and leveling, finished inside the window quoted and improved by suggestions made during the planning. In September 2025, after an above-ground pool came out, the crew cleared and hauled five tons of sand and then set a rock firepit in its place. A June 2026 customer got crushed stone run the length of the fence to the shed and a patio off the deck with a retaining wall, alongside a spring cleanup and weekly mowing. The maintenance side runs long. One customer wrote in November 2022 that Oz had handled their lawn and seasonal cleanups for more than eight years. Another said in April 2025 that in three years the crew had been on time and on budget every time, across spring cleanups, mulch, rock bed design and reclaiming overgrown garden space. A November 2025 customer with a steep front lawn had the fall leaves cleared faster than expected. Booking is quick: a June 2026 customer asked for a mulch estimate, had Oz out the next day, agreed a price on a handshake and got updates before the crew arrived. Google holds a 5.0 average across 58 ratings, with written accounts going back to 2021. In December 2023 a parent wrote that the company had left $100 gift cards for families at her son's school. For a patio, a wall, a regrade or a season of mowing around Lawrence and Andover, this is an easy call. Handshake deals cut both ways, though — on a multi-day stone job, get the scope, the materials and the number on paper before the machines turn up.
We had Oz Landscaping do our spring clean up, also weekly yard mowing. The best thing is they also do great hardscaping work. We had a crushed stone wall the entire length of the fence to the shed. Also added a fantastic patio off the deck with a beautiful retaining wall. All this back breaking manual labor in one week. Definitely hire them if you're looking for the same. These pictures do no justice. I'll update later if possible. Thank you Ozzy and Team John and Stephanie
Reached out to OZ for an estimate for mulch and he responded right away and came out the very next day to look. We agreed on price and scheduled the job on a handshake. He provided updates on his arrival and showed up when he said he would. Highly recommend. Very trustworthy and the job came out great.
Oz has performed our yard work for several years and has been professional and responsive. Today OZ performed a spring clean up, on time and met and exceeded expectations.
Ozzy did a great job and went above and beyond what i expected!
OZ Landscaping has been amazing to work with! They recently did my fall clean-up and had all the leaves cleared in no time, honestly faster than what I was expecting. The entire property looks great. They also mow my front lawn, which has been a bit of a challenge given the steep hill and they’ve totally gotten it under control. Super reliable, great quality work, and really reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
