The permit history backs that up. 145 permitted projects out of 35 Oak Island St in Swampscott, and the biggest is a $5,000,000 self-storage fit-out in Peabody — wiring for light, power, HVAC, controls and fire prevention. The rest reads the same way: a 16-unit Boston dwelling wired for lighting and power, a Salem subdivision of new single-family houses, tenant circuits for a dozen commercial spaces on Newbury Street. This is a contractor set up for buildings, not for a homeowner's ceiling fan. Leonard Pagliaro's Massachusetts electrician licence, 20515, is active on the state registry. BuildZoom also lists a Construction Supervisor licence it marks inactive. One thing worth raising: a 2016 Everett commercial permit carries an inspector's note that the general contractor came in for a removal slip to take the contractor off that job partway through, with the second floor still needing to be completed by a new electrician. That is a decade-old record on one job, and it is one side of a story, but it is the only account of how a job went that exists anywhere for this company. For a residential job, ask whether they take work that size at all. For a commercial or multi-unit build, ask for two recent projects and the general contractors who ran them.
