Pariseault Builders describes itself on its website as a fourth-generation, family-owned general contracting firm in central Rhode Island, started in 1946 by Raymond Pariseault and his son Bud as a small tile and masonry company in Warwick. On its Houzz profile the company says it is now 75 employees strong. A 2025 Google reviewer said that in 2015 the company transformed their 1921 bungalow: it removed the failing stucco exterior, brought the house down to the studs, and put on new sheathing, batt insulation and red cedar shingle siding. That 2025 reviewer also praised the communication from start to finish. A 2014 Houzz customer said the company helped design their main bathroom and offered advice and ideas throughout the process. A 2013 Houzz reviewer said the company was neat and cleaned up the project every time it left. A 2020 Houzz customer described a residential construction project in which the person who sold them on the company, and was supposed to be their project manager, disappeared shortly after the project started; that 2020 customer said the project manager and construction supervisors who remained did not communicate at all. A 2024 Google reviewer said one worker spent almost 8 hours at a job to make a saw cut in a wall and slept in his car for about an hour.
“PROVIDENCE – Crossroads Rhode Island and Pariseault Builders have completed the structural framework of a permanent supportive housing development at 371 Pine St., a phase known as “capping off.””
In 2015, when Pariseault was still doing smaller residences, they did a complete transformation of my 1921 bungalow. Removed the original stucco exterior which was failing and brought the house down to the studs. Placed new sheathing, batt insulation, and then the pièce de résistance... red cedar shingle siding. Try finding a contractor who truly knows wood siding nowadays - they are a dying breed. My bungalow is completely transformed and ready for the next 100 years! Great communication from start to finish. Simply the best.
One of the guys working for this company was highly disrespectful was at a job for almost 8 hours to make a cut in a wall with a saw and then sleep in his car for about and hour. Go back and forth to the bathroom and did absolutely nothing all day. I hope theyre boss is not paying them by the hour. Truck p108 weds may 29 6am to now 1243pm at Tiffany's location.
I am not sure about these other reviews, but my experience with Pariseault Builders was completely the opposite. My project with them was residential construction. The previous owner sold me on this company and was suppose to be my project manager. He disappeared shortly after the project started and soon after left the company altogether. I was left with a project manager and construction supervisors who did not respect each other and did not communicate at all. Save your time, money, and aggravation......do some research and be your own general contractor. If you do not have the time to do this.....move! If you see this post and you had a similar experience, please post a review. Save someone from having the same experience.
This company is extremely thorough, trustworthy and all-around great. I would hire them again without hesitation. They helped me design the main bathroom. Provided insight, great advice and ideas throughout the process.
Pariseault Builders has been around for over 50 years. They have an impeccable highly regarded reputation. They are extremely honest, trustworthy, efficient, and best of all the work they do is top quality. They do big and small projects with attention to detail in anything they do. They are also very neat and they clean up the project every time they leave. The owners name is Joe and I would highly recommend them!
