Patrick Shaughnessy

It was a great pleasure working with Patrick. He helped us with the unique needs of our space: an old kitchen with a very odd layout (3 entryways and 3 windows). He was patient and provided excellent ideas, and came up with plans that were highly functional and that we unable to do on our own. Patrick worked within our budget, and was always available by email or phone to address our questions and help us with ordering. We are overjoyed with the final product; it's better than we could have hoped for. Patrick is a very talented designer, and I woudl recommend his to anyone.

Patrick is wonderful to work with. As a preservation carpenter that infrequently installs manufactured kitchen cabinets but understands the consequence of getting the details right, I appreciated his guidance throughout the design process and double checking the measurements with me before submitting the order. We navigated all of this during the onset of Covid and despite the uncertainties of supply lines, Patrick was clear and accurate as to what was available and delivery times. I wouldn't hesitate to work with BBRC and Patrick again.

Patrick was extremely helpful and patient in helping design my small kitchen. He provided very clear advice concerning the advantages and disadvantages of various specifications for the cabinetry and hardware, and was particularly knowledgeable about the no and low VOC finishes in which I was interested, as well as the quality of various cabinets. He is a pro and very easy to work with; I recommend him unreservedly.

My wife and I are very pleased with the kitchen cabinet design, supply and oversight Patrick provided in his role as kitchen designer at the Boston Building Resources. We chose Patrick over other designers we interviewed because were impressed with his communication and design skills. A good listener, he paid attention to the details that were important to us, anticipated important installation challenges. and he followed up in a timely manner. Patrick was a pleasure to work with, I would definitely recommend him as a polished professional, and I'll look forward to work with him again on future projects.
