Patriot Fence Company is a West Boylston fence outfit whose customers keep naming one person: Angela. A homeowner writing in April 2025 described her emailing back on a Sunday night with an answer to a question; another, that May, credited her with carrying the job from first inquiry through to the finished line. Six people wrote about the company on Google between 2022 and 2025, and they describe the same arc each time — the crew turned up, the install went smoothly, the fence landed where it was meant to. BBB lists the business as having started in 1990 and names Joe Renzoni as its owner, with its BBB file opened in 2007. That profile carries an A+ rating while the company is not BBB accredited — two separate things, and the A+ is not a customer rating. The jobs described run well past a backyard line. A 2022 reviewer had roughly 330 feet installed at their business, about 150 feet of it cut through asphalt and running uphill, and said the finished fence came out straight and true. In 2023 a homeowner described a privacy fence along one side of a backyard. BBB's product list is unusually wide for a fence company: vinyl, chain link, ornamental aluminum, steel and iron, custom wood, horse fencing, dog kennels, pergolas and arbors, plus pool and tennis-court enclosures and ballfield backstops and batting cages. Two things are worth pinning down before you call. The comments you can read are old — the newest is from May 2025, so none of them describes how the company is running now. And the licence: BBB records the number CS-092311, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety and Inspections, but that is BBB's own entry rather than a check against the state registry, so confirm it yourself. Google's published 4.4 average across 14 ratings also sits below the six five-star comments that carry any text, so some of the ratings without words run lower. If you want a company as comfortable with a long commercial run or awkward, sloping ground as with a backyard privacy fence, this is a reasonable call. Ask for references from the past year, since the written comments you can read are more than a year old, and ask the state about that licence number before you sign.
