Patten Energy

Patten Energy is a heating-oil dealer that, by its own description, is looking for new residential oil customers in Cheshire County. The company says it has been in business for 30 years, and its website lists Keene, Jaffrey, Peterborough and Rindge among the towns it serves. A 2023 customer who had used Patten as a fuel oil supplier for a few years said the company started its servicing business on 6/1/23. That customer wrote that the burner broke three days before a scheduled maintenance visit, and the service guy showed up on time, added the repair, located the problem in 20 minutes and had the part on the truck. In the same 2023 review, a 1-hour appointment ran to 2 hours with no additional labor charge. A 2026 customer wrote that the driveway was a bear and the drivers still made every effort to deliver. A recent customer called the drivers courteous. A 2023 customer who had just switched said the delivery driver was friendly and helped fix an issue. A 2022 commenter on r/newhampshire said they had filled their tank from Patten Energy in Keene. A 2024 customer who owns multiple properties in Keene said the team kept a close eye on them and let them know if anything seemed amiss. A 2025 customer said the company had helped identify an issue that could have been very problematic, and thanked Mark, Kelly and crew. A 2023 customer praised the furnace cleaning and the staff's knowledge of equipment.
