Paul the Painter is a painter whose van carries the business name, according to a recent Google reviewer who said that van tailgated them on Route 1 in Kittery, cut them off so they had to slam on the brakes, and then ran a red light. In a 2025 Google review, a person said he almost ran them over in a parking lot even though he saw them walking.
Driving down route 1 in Kittery. Paul (you know it's him because the van says "Paul the Painter"), is tailgating me. I am going 30 in a 25 so I am not going to go any faster. When the car next to me gets a tiny space forward, Paul zips into that lane, and then cuts me off pulling in front of me, but in doing so I had to slam on my brakes, otherwise HE would have hit me in his wild maneuver. He then in the next few seconds ran a red light. I didn't know getting to a paint job was an emergency, meanwhile I was on my way to visit my wife in emergency care in Boston. So thank you Paul for almost ruining that. I also thought how I recognized the van, and I remembered he almost ran me over in a parking lot too instead of letting me cross when I was walking.
Almost ran me over in the parking lot even though he saw me walking. Guess he was too much in a rush.
