The company's website calls it "a new company with old school values," saying its partners have over 50 years of commercial and residential expertise in the mechanical field, and lists a service area that runs from Waterbury and Burlington to Stowe, Montpelier, Vergennes and Hardwick. On Google it holds 4.7 stars from 22 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. Paul and Nate replaced one customer's old boiler with a new Weil McLain boiler and indirect hot water tank, and that customer called the work clean. A homeowner with a new build in Stowe said Peak installed the HVAC and plumbing, Dave came to explain how the system works, and Skyler installed WiFi connections to the thermostats for remote access. A customer said Peak has done 5 plumbing jobs at their home over the past 3 years, 3 repairs and 2 installations. For mini-split service, a customer said Cindi scheduled a cleaning within the week and the tech, Skyler, arrived on time. A customer said Peak has taken care of the HVAC needs at VFW Post 6689 in Essex Jct for years. A 2026 customer in Stowe said they lost heat when temperatures were sub-zero, and that Dave and his crew tried many times to bring the old boiler back to life. That 2026 customer said that when it failed, they brought in space heaters to prevent burst pipes, then recommended and installed a new Bosch unit, with a "long standing customer discount" on the installation. A 2025 customer said Peak replaced a propane boiler with a heat pump and electric hot water heater and installed a mini-split heat pump. A 2025 customer in Middlesex said Ned and Skylar were quick and thorough on a heat pump install and left all areas neat. A 2025 customer warned about billing, citing vehicle surcharges, full rates charged for apprentices and assistants, drive time to get parts not on the truck, and being put on the bottom of the list for repairs and follow-up visits.
