When a roof has to be replaced under a solar array, Phase Out Electric is the company that takes the panels down and puts them back. The company says it coordinates with the roofer, removes the panels and reinstalls them when the roof is ready, and it claims 20 years in business. Its Connecticut electrician license, ELC.0195228-E1, is active on the state registry under the name Phase Out Electric. A recent customer said PhaseOut was called in by their roofers to remove and reinstall ten solar panels when the roof was reshingled, and that cleanup was thorough. A 2026 customer said the technicians removed and reinstalled all panels over a two-day period. A recent customer with a GFI fault said Adam Golka quoted a new inverter, then suggested one last thing to try first; the customer followed his instructions, cleared the fault, and wrote that Adam did not charge anything. A recent customer said that after searching for years for someone to straighten out solar meter issues, the company came, diagnosed and fixed it. A 2026 customer said the company completed repairs on a system installed by a different vendor. In a 2024 review, a customer said a technician found their Canadian Solar panels failing ten years into a 25-year warranty; Adam pressed the manufacturer, which sent all new panels, and Phase Out replaced them within two weeks. That customer still paid for the labor, which the manufacturer refused to cover. In a 2023 review, a southern Massachusetts customer whose original installer had gone out of business said Phase Out tested the LG panels and Tigo Energy optimizers, found them defective, and installed the replacement equipment once the warranty claims were approved.
