Latour Plumbing and Construction

Latour Plumbing and Construction describes itself as a residential plumbing and appliance installation company, handling leak repairs, pipe replacements and water heater installations. Its Massachusetts plumber license, 16991-PL-M, held by Ryan Latour, is active on the state registry. Tyler came out to measure the existing cutout for a double wall oven before it was ordered, then during the installation widened the cutout a hair and built up the base so there would be no visible gap at the top. On a dishwasher install, Ty and Brady brought an outlet and plumbing hose up to RI code, installing the appropriate outlet and a water hammer on the same visit, and tested for leaks once the dishwasher was in. Nico found that a rodent had chewed through an old dishwasher's electrical and drain, fixed the electrical issues, closed up an open electrical box and installed the new dishwasher. Before another dishwasher install, Jose and Adam sent photos of what plumbing code required and what it would cost. Tyler and Lawrence noticed that an installation package bought from a retail store was not necessary and said they would let the store know to refund it. A Google review calls the company a scam, saying it was paid to install an oven from Lowe's, then claimed the ticket was closed and blocked the buyer's and Lowe's phone numbers. An install that was free through Best Buy came with a $475 charge from Latour Plumbing for upgrades.
