Photo Inspection, LLC is a home inspection business that describes itself as 30 years in business. A 2025 Reddit commenter in r/Connecticut wrote that they helped the commenter avoid "the worst purchase ever" after inspecting the first house the commenter put an offer on. A 2026 Google reviewer who hired the company for a home inspection said it flagged a natural gas heater in the garage that was not a problem at all, and that its report did not say where the faulty electrical outlets it found were located. That 2026 reviewer also said they do not inspect appliances, so a built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator with a broken compressor went unchecked, and put the replacement cost at $16K. A 2022 Google reviewer who signed with RE/MAX wrote of working with Bob & Bonnie for years and recommending them to clients.
“They helped me not make the worst purchase ever after inspecting the first house I put an offer on.”
You may think that you're gettting a home inspection but you're not. I hired Photo Inspection to do my home in April 2026. They identified a problem with a natural gas heater in the garage that was not a problem at all but that cost me a lot of time. They identified some faulty electrical outlets but their report doesn't tell me where they are located. THe report didn't even have a table of contents. But the worst part is that they DON'T INSPECT APPLIANCES. This home had a Sub-Zero refrigerator that had a broken compressor. It wasn't working! They said that they don't check this! This is built into the cabinets of the house. It will cost me $16K to replace it IF I can find a unit to fit into the cabinets. I honestly don't know what value this outfit provides outside of checking a few electical outlets. My recommendation is to go and find an inspector that actually inspects.
I have been working with Bob & Bonnie for years and recommend them regulary to my clients knowing they are in great hands! - Craig Milton RE/MAX
