Piano Movers Inc says it moves only pianos, including moves between rooms as well as residential and commercial relocations. Based in Nashua, New Hampshire, the company describes a New England service area covering New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island and Maine. It also offers climate-controlled storage and piano removal or disposal. Its website says it has been moving only pianos since 1999; BBB lists four years in business, a different stated history. Customers have described both short transfers and longer moves. In an August 2024 Google review, a customer new to western Massachusetts said Brian responded promptly by email and accommodated a quick turnaround for an antique upright grand bought across town. The customer estimated that moving it from the truck to the living room took about 15 minutes. A September 2023 reviewer described a baby grand moved downhill to the bottom floor and praised the scheduling and price. Another customer, writing in March 2023, said the crew planned each step and took care with both the piano and the spaces it passed through. One September 2024 reviewer raised a handling concern during an upright's removal. At a side entrance with a right-angle turn and steps, the customer said the movers briefly let a piano wheel bear weight while tilting it on a dolly. The crew pushed the piano back toward the house and reset the move. The customer said the piano was not destroyed, credited the movers with punctuality and courtesy, but felt they had rushed and had not planned the movement sufficiently. Communication drew praise in older accounts. An October 2022 customer described contact with Matt and his team before the move and care for the piano and home. Another review that month said Matt's team accommodated the customer's schedule by arriving earlier for a long-distance move. In June 2022, a customer arranging a 139-mile piano move said Matt Goodwin answered emails and texts and provided estimates and scheduling. The customer had expected delivery within one or two days but learned at pickup that delivery would occur that day; a three-person crew handled both ends. A June 2022 customer awaiting renovations said the company called while on the way to collect the piano and moved it into climate-controlled storage for several months. Google showed 4.8 stars from 13 ratings in August 2026. BBB listed an A+ grade and said the business was not accredited.

Great movers made it look easy great service appreciate the help till next time!
I consigned my upright and the consignor used this company to move the upright out of my house. I had seen how it was moved in initially by another company with proper mini-ramps up the steps. I have a side entrance that required a 90-degree turn right after exist the house before going down three more steps. The movers that came this time around didn't use the mini ramp method out of the house. Instead had put the bottom of upright (the wood part) on a dolly. When they went down the first step, it was tilted down before rotating sideways. The upright was tilted to a point that the piano wheel (not the dolly) ended up bearing the weight briefly instead of the dolly, which meant that corner of the piano bottom probably touched the floor. I almost had a heart attack watching them. Thankfully they reset themselves by pushing the piano back to the house, and the piano wasn't destroyed, but clearly they didn't spend enough time thinking about the movement before moving. They did show up on time, very courteous. They were in a rush because they had a big moving day for the piano sale day, so may be this was an exception.
We are new to the Western Massachusetts area and we fell in love with an antique upright grand across town. Brian was extremely timely and responsive to email, and they were able to accommodate our quick turnaround. Highly, highly recommend! The movers themselves were very professional, careful, and quick! From the truck to our living room, the whole process took maybe 15 mins.
I looked around a bunch, these guys have no competition. Could not recommend them more. Easy to schedule, best price, moved a baby grand downhill to the bottom floor and did a perfect job.
The crew did an amazing job. They were very careful, not just of the piano but of the areas through which it had to pass. They planned each step. There were no issues. I would recommend them highly.
