Last year, I decided to do major renovations to my home. This included adding a bathroom, office and laundry room as well as a new roof. This was not your ordinary renovation as I also needed to find a contractor who could fix a floor in my main bathroom where another contractor had laid the wrong pebble floor with the wrong colored grout. The brand new porcelain wall was sitting on the pebbled floor making the renovation extremely tedious. I needed someone who could do new construction as well as renovate unfinished construction. I needed a partner to work with me on this project. After unsuccessfully interfacing with 3 contractors in the area, I was introduced to Gary. My first interaction with Gary was very positive. He was extremely knowledgeable. His years of experience shined through as Gary sat and listened to my vision of what I wanted to build on my existing home as well as reviewed and assessed the renovations that would be needed to complete and fix the unfinished main bathroom. Gary walked me through the renovation in the main bathroom and although the work would be extreme and time consuming I understood the process and the outcome that Gary was aiming to achieve. Gary reviewed the process for the new construction including how the blueprints would be drawn up and reviewed with me. I did not feel rushed through the initial meeting and when we were finished, I felt like Gary fully understood what I wanted for my home. For the first time in several months, I felt like I could take a sigh of relief that my home would be treated with respect and that my project was important. There were several additional meetings that occurred before the construction began as I changed my mind on the layout of doors, windows and appliances prior to the beginning of the construction. On every encounter, Gary was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. He treated me with respect. I did not feel pressured to make quick decisions on the project and in fact, Gary continued to tell me that I should make sure the project is exactly what I wanted. He worked to accommodate my every request and helped me choose the best materials for the renovation. After the layout was approved. Gary broke the entire renovation and new building project down into smaller pieces so that I would not be overwhelmed with the process and could plan appropriately as he progressed through the project. Gary ensured I understood the entire construction plan as well as the financial plan for the renovation. Once the construction began, he ensured that I had a place to work (I work from home) and that all rooms being renovated were not being renovated at the same time. He also ensured that Bella, my 150 pound Newfie, would have a safe place to go in the backyard without piercing her paws with nails and construction equipment. Gary ensured that every person working in my home had met Bella and understood her safety as a priority for the project. Gary communicated with me every step of the project. I felt like I understood every piece of the renovation. Gary and his crew ensured that my existing hardwood floors were protected appropriately. He draped and protected portions of my home that were not involved in the construction. Gary and his crew cleaned up the construction area every day. Gary even brought a HEPA filter to help minimize the dust. This had a significant impact on my allergies and my ability to live and work in my home during the construction. The new construction and main bathroom renovation came out beautifully! They were on time and within budget. In fact, Gary's techniques, professionalism and quality were so good that I went on to have the living room and dining room renovated as well. I am running out of projects and rooms to renovate but you can be sure whatever projects come up, Gary will be the first person I will call. I would refer Gary to anyone that is considering any type of construction in their home be it new construction or a renovation. Gary is extremely talented and a true professional in a field that is quite variable in terms of what you get for your money. Gary is the consummate professional. His work and work ethic was top-notch. The two of us reviewed all details of the project ahead of time and he stuck to everything we had discussed and he handled a change-order gracefully. Gary's price for the job was extremely reasonable. .Aside from all this he's personable and easy to work with. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him highly to others looking for a general contractor.

Mr. Pierce was very knowledgable. He did the research for my skylights and recommended the best course of action. The work quality was excellent and he left the area clean and everything in place.

First, I will start with the facts: Gary Pierce had the best quote and the best price. Gary Pierce and his crew started the job on the day that he stated in the quote. They stripped the old shingles, patched a couple soft spots in the sheathing and built a cricket against the new chimney. They covered the entire roof with Ice and Water Shield and laid down 30 year Architectural shingles. Gary and crew cleaned up the entire job site to the point that it was cleaner than when they arrived. Now I can give you my opinion: Sometimes you meet a man that exudes confidence and trustworthiness. Gary definitely lives up the expectations. Gary is easy to talk to, polite and professional. They did a great job and it looks terrific. I have more work to do on this old house and I will be calling Gary to help get it done. I highly recommend this company. If I could give it more stars I would. If you need a roof, call Pierce Construction, you won't be disappointed.

Gary was considerate every step of the way; I had my bathroom fully redone and I found him to be above average in listening closely to what I needed and giving suggestions from his experience, cleaning up thoroughly and offerring a fair price.
