EVM Home Improvement & Painting

EVM Home Improvement & Painting is a painting and remodeling company, and one recent Google customer said EVM refinished their 35-year-old maple shaker kitchen cabinets; that customer worked with LJ, who sent Marcio and Fernando to do the work. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 208423, is active on the state registry, with EVM Home Improvement Inc as holder of record. The company's website says it was founded by college students Gabe Elias and LJ Van Molle and later joined by Gabe's father, Durval Elias. A recent customer who had bought a building said Durval got the necessary permits, peeled off the siding to investigate, and replaced the damaged framing and the three windows affected. A recent customer who hired EVM for two full bathroom remodels said Durval kept constant communication and the team left the house spotless every day. A recent customer said Gabe and his team transformed their attic, installing new carpeting and lighting, painting the walls and replacing the doors. A 2026 customer said the team stripped and repainted cabinets that a previous paint job had done incorrectly, putting up plastic for the sanding. A 2024 customer said three crews removed an old pressure treated wood deck and built a composite deck with cable railing, soft washed the house siding, and painted trim and shutters. A 2023 customer whose house closing was pushed up a week said they had only a week to get the interior painted, and that the company matched a favorite paint color from an old swatch. A 2024 sentinelandenterprise.com article credited EVM Home Improvement & Painting with a facelift at Fitchburg High School. A 2025 Google customer said the company took a $3,950 deposit and would not return it. That 2025 customer said they had signed a proposal but no contract, that no paint color had been picked, and that they were proceeding with civil actions.
