Small jobs and big jobs read very differently in what people write about Pierre Construction. The small ones are unanimous: bifold attic stairs swapped with care, a framing repair finished inside an hour for well under what others quoted, a garage put back together after a car drove into it. Six reviews landed in the past six months and every one is five stars, all of them naming David. The larger projects are where the accounts diverge. A customer writing in October 2025 had a basement finished inside a ten-day deadline at a price that held even when problems surfaced; another that month had a kitchen, a master bathroom and hardwood floors done with the furniture carried out and back by the crew. A May 2025 reviewer described a two-storey deck with structural column repairs underneath it, and singled out a carpentry crew that had been together twelve years — the same two carpenters, Paul and Derek, are named in January 2024 reviews. Three accounts pull hard the other way, and all three are about money and follow-through. In September 2025 a client wrote that a $260,000 project finished near $330,000 despite shrinking in scope, and that a $60,000 payment was accounted for as less than $3,000 of work. In January 2024 another described an attic renovation that began six months after the deposit, headed toward $130,000, left a subcontractor saying he had not been paid, and stopped at roughly 55–60% complete — with a replacement contractor later pulling live wiring out from behind new sheetrock. A third, in April 2023, said the estimate appointment was simply never kept. Angi and HomeAdvisor both show 4.5 from 27 ratings. Of the twenty-five written accounts, twenty-two are positive and three are not, and the three are long and specific. So: for a deck, a framing repair, a bathroom or a kitchen, the recent run is consistent and the crew is experienced. For an addition or a gut renovation, take the 2025 complaint at its word and do exactly what that reviewer advised — an itemised contract, written scope, dated milestones, payment tied to inspected stages — and ask to speak with a subcontractor who worked for them in the past year.
David and his crew were amazing. They worked with me to match my budget, adjusted when we ran into unexpected complications, and provided quality craftsmanship. I’ll be reaching out to them again for future projects!
The work was done within a few days of my hiring them. They were in and out of my driveway in less than an hour, and their fee was much less than some other companies I reached out to
They were quick to respond and complete the work

I did not know David or Pierre Construction prior to finding them on Angi’s list. A car had driven into my garage causing some cosmetic damage. They were quick to respond, came out quickly for a quote, and even kept in touch while I needed to work through some insurance stuff. Once we were ready for the work, it was scheduled within a week and the crew was great.
