Pilato's Artscape

I don’t usually write long reviews, but this one is so, so well deserved. From the very beginning—before I had even put down a deposit—Pasquale took his time, never rushed me, and really listened. He asked thoughtful questions and genuinely cared about getting it right before anything started. What I appreciated most early on was his honesty. Instead of pushing me toward extra costs, he actually encouraged me to act as my own designer. Then, once I had ideas in place, he helped refine them—explaining what was realistic and how to maintain quality without overspending. Being able to visit his stone yard a few times gave me such peace of mind — it gave me a real visual of how the stone would look and the pattern we were going for. He took everything—my style, my background, the feel I wanted for the space—and translated it into a design that truly fit. I’ll admit, it wasn’t exactly what I initially had in mind. But I trusted him, and I’m glad I did, because the end result turned out better than I could have imagined. When it came to execution—they started within a week and showed up consistently until the job was done. No delays, no excuses. I always hear horror stories about construction dragging on forever, so this really stood out. I drop my kids off at daycare in the mornings, and every day like clockwork, the trucks were rolling in at 8:00 on the dot— that level of punctuality was a breath of fresh air. The craftsmanship speaks for itself— the father-son duo's attention to detail is exceptional. And just as important, his team reflected that same level of professionalism. They were respectful, skilled, and clearly took pride in their work. If you’re looking for someone who is honest, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and truly invested in delivering something special, I would recommend him without hesitation. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Big thank you from the Lewis Family!

Sal and Pasquale were wonderful to work with. They understand what the Client is looking for and make it a reality. Have had them back for additional work and expect there will be additional projects for them.

Pasquale and Sal are true artisans. The stone wall they built for us is beautiful. They were very flexible and willing to work with us. We would highly recommend them.

I have used Pilato's Artscape for multiple projects, starting with a huge in-ground pool installation including walls and deck work. I also used them to construct a complete official sized bocce court, and stonework on a multi-car garage. The latest job, as the pictures depict, was a pre-fabricated shed of which their stonework gives the illusion of a built-on-site structure. I have been using the Pilato family for aprox. 4 years now, having started our relationship with custom gates at the mouth of my driveway. Between Pasquale and his father Sal, they bring both an artistic, creative eye, and old-world knowledge and know-how with the craftsmanship of yesteryear. All jobs were completed in a timely, clean, efficient fashion for competitive prices and unparalleled quality.
