Pine State Septic Co.

Pine State Septic Co. is an Etna septic pumping outfit, and one customer names Grant as the owner. Its own site lists Bangor, Newport, Orono, Penobscot and Etna as its service area. One customer had a backup on a Sunday, called at 3:30 and had them at the house by 5:00. Another said Grant came the day after the call to check the septic and found it badly needed a pump. A customer with a pump alarm going off and a tank nearing overflow said Grant came the same day, made multiple trips with different trucks late on a Friday afternoon and got the pump replaced before the day was done, when other companies were saying the following week. The pumping visits come with explanation. One customer said Grant used the levels in the system to say how often it would need pumping. Another said he offered advice to minimize future trouble with an older septic system, and called his fees reasonable. One customer said he went out of his way to replace a broken cover, picking it up and delivering it. Another said he was patient while trying to find their septic system. On price, one customer called for a quote on pumping, found it competitive, and had the job taken care of the next day.
