A hot water tank was leaking one October 2025 morning; by that night the homeowner had a new one in, pulled and replaced in under an hour and a half. Speed is the through-line at Platinum Plumbing, a small West Springfield shop carrying 83 Google ratings that average 5.0. The name that recurs is Tim — in review after review he is the one who answers the phone, shows up, and does the work, sometimes alone, sometimes with an assistant or a crew. A February 2026 customer with a leaking pipe says someone was at the door within an hour of the call. Another that month had the problem diagnosed in ten minutes and fixed the same day. Water heaters are the single most repeated job: same-day and next-day replacements run right through the spring of 2026, and in December 2025 a landlord had one swapped at a rental property within 24 hours of reaching out. It is not all quick swaps. In November 2025 a homeowner described cast iron waste lines pulled from the roof down to the basement and replaced with ABS, the crew staying late so the family kept a working shower and toilets overnight. A third-floor sewer line split down its length in an antique home was repaired in October 2025. A June 2026 review covers an entire basement sewer line replacement, and a December 2025 new-build customer says the crew caught and corrected a mistake left behind by the excavation contractor. Renovation plumbing turns up too — a full-house renovation and a new bathroom, both in spring 2026. Two things get mentioned nearly as often as speed: that the work area was left clean, and that the price was explained and agreed before anyone started. Several customers came by referral, one from a friend and one from a Facebook group. One review breaks the run. In November 2025 a customer said an 8 a.m. appointment, confirmed at 9 p.m. the night before, was cancelled at 10 p.m. with no follow-up call. If your job is time-sensitive, pin down the confirmation. The other thing to weigh is age. The written history runs only from 2025 into 2026, and effectively all of it sits on Google — a lot of positive volume in a short window rather than a long history spread across several places. For an urgent leak, a dead water heater, or a waste line that has to come out, this is the shop people call and then call again. Confirm the appointment time and get the quoted price in hand before the truck rolls.

Just sharing my experience that I recently had with Platinum Plumbing. I had a hose burst on my toilet and my shut off valve was broke. This all happened at 8:30 PM and I was without running water and the use of my toilet over night. The next day I called 5 different plumbers and only one called back within 10 minutes. It was Tim from Platinum. He actually apologized for missing my call and when I explained my situation he said he would be right over. He came over and got right to work. Not only did he replace my broken shut off valve and the hose that had burst, he also detected the flange under my toilet needed to be replaced and sealed. As it was - each flush my toilet was leaking internally and soaking my floor and beams. He removed the toilet, luckily had the flange my toilet needed, installed the flange, built up around the base and sealed it. He and his assistant were finished within an hour and a half. Great service, very knowledgeable, spoke to me about what he was doing every step of the way and was very polite. I would highly recommend Platinum Plumbing. Thank you again Tim & your assistant. Sincerely, Donna L Anton

Platinum Plumbing did an awesome job replacing my water heater! I called and they came out the very next day. They swapped out everything around the heater, and the price was super reasonable. Highly recommend these guys!

We hired Tim from Platinum Plumbing for the plumbing work during our full-house renovation, and he was outstanding from start to finish. He was clean, organized, prompt, and consistently professional. Qualities that make an enormous difference during a renovation. In a sea of underwhelming contractors, Tim is exceptional. He brings real expertise to the job and takes the time to guide you through decisions so the finished work is not only high quality, but also correct, safe, and code-specific. You can tell he takes pride in doing things properly rather than simply doing them quickly. We are incredibly grateful for Tim’s work and would recommend Platinum Plumbing without hesitation to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable plumber.
