Plumb Perfect is a Burlington plumbing business tied to Stanley Selig, and a release on ago.vermont.gov says the Attorney General's Office brought a complaint against Plumb Perfect, LLC and its owner/proprietor, Stanley Selig, alleging the business operated for many years in an unlicensed capacity while advertising "expert" plumbing services. On its BBB profile the business describes itself as offering plumbing installation, bathroom design and renovation, repairs and heating services, mainly hot water and radiant heat. A 2026 commenter on r/burlington called the company "rip off artists" and said they were scammed a few years back. A 2023 poster said Stan held them up for five straight days, promising each time to come and not showing. A 2025 post said the business, previously Plumb Perfect, now operates as Stanley Harris and Sons Plumbing. A 2023 HomeAdvisor customer said they were billed 1 1/2 hours of labor for two people on a toilet seal job in a bathroom only big enough for one, that the toilet was leaking 15 minutes after they left, and that Stan was insulting when called. A 2021 HomeAdvisor reviewer said the job was abandoned after payment and no permit was filed. In a 2022 Angi review, a customer said Stan, Mike, Jeff and Giuseppe took a master bath down to the studs and rebuilt it. A 2020 HomeAdvisor customer said Stan came the same Friday afternoon and installed a new kitchen faucet in about 90 minutes. In a 2018 review, a customer said Stanley arrived at 6:15 on a Friday evening, replaced a gas line shut-off valve so an oven could be installed, and called the next day to follow up. A 2018 customer said the first appointment was forgotten and a second was missed before the drain job was finished, and a 2022 Reddit commenter said the company shows up late, doesn't communicate and does mediocre work.

Stanley knows a lot about what can be done in tricky situations and helped us get our two bathrooms into shape for renters.
These guys are horrible. They came to my home when only my wife was there and performed the work. Marty stood around and watched while Mike changed the seal. My wife received a bill for 1 1/2 hours labor and it was explained to her that each person worked 45 minutes. The bathroom is only big enough for one person to work! She paid the bill, they deposited the check electronically prior to leaving our driveway, and they then left. I got home from work 15 minutes later and the toilet was leaking upon my arrival. I called the following morning and when Stan called, he was insulting and rude. Questioned everything about my home and the quality of the products used in the rebuild 7 years ago. Back and forth it went. The last message I got from him, he informed me I was stupid and to wake up and smell the coffee. Apparently he isn’t even licensed to run a business! Stay away from this guy. He’s a crook. Too bad zero stars is not an option v.
Stan, Mike, Jeff and Giuseppe did a great job with our master bath remodel. They took it down to the studs and rebuilt our bath to look like something in a magazine. The entire team was knowledgable of the materials and options to make our vision come to life. I'd recommend this team for your next project.
Terrible
We live in a funky old farm house which required some adaptations. And this crew was a real pleasure to work with
