Plumb Perfection is a Trumbull, Connecticut plumbing company run by Eric, who says he has over 10 years of experience in the plumbing industry. Its written reviews run from 2019 to 2024. In a March 2024 review, a homeowner who hired the company for the plumbing on a basement renovation in Darien said they paid $2,000 at the start and Eric abandoned the job half way through. That customer said the work failed a Darien building inspection, with leaks at PVC joints and a toilet waste line with back pitch, and that the permit was never pulled. The earlier accounts are positive. In April 2019, a Thumbtack customer said Eric installed a tankless water heater on time and on budget. A March 2019 customer said Eric knew exactly how to handle installing a municipal water-powered backup sump pump. A January 2019 customer said the crew relocated pipes so a basement area could be finished, and later fixed issues with heating and boiler exhaust. A general contractor wrote in January 2019 that they had used the company for six years. On Thumbtack the company holds 5.0 stars from 9 ratings, and on Google 3.7 from 3.

I hired Plumb Perfection, LLC to perform all plumbing work associated with my basement renovation. All of the work was detailed in their contract, including pulling a permit with the town of Darien, CT. Eric performed the work in my basement with his helper. I paid him $2,000 at the start of the project and half way through, Eric abandoned my job. Eric left me no choice but to hire someone else to fix and finish the work that I already paid him to do. The work Eric did at my house was unfinished and improperly done… I had a Darien Building Inspector inspect Eric’s work and it FAILED INSPECTION. A stack/water pressure test was completed on all of his PVC work and shockingly there were numerous leaks from PVC joints that Eric didn’t install (prime & glue) properly. In addition, the toilet waste line Eric installed had back pitch, which meant the toilet waste would’ve never flowed properly. Lastly, he never pulled the permit with the town of Darien. I honestly don’t know how Eric can be a “licensed” Plumber. His work was negligent and didn’t meet reasonable standards…especially with a FAILED INSPECTION by the town of Darien. Please take my word, stay away from Eric and his company.
