On Houzz, the business says it was established in 1984, is located in North Haven and is family owned and operated by Paul and Sandy Menillo and their children. In a 2020 BuildZoom review, a customer said they made an appointment for an in-ground pool quote and no one showed or called. That 2020 customer wrote that they apologized the next day and said Paul would call to reschedule, and that no call came. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0645237, held by POOL & PATIO INC, as expired.
What a joke this company is! I know the Pool Industry is booming during Covid-19, but I made an appointment to have a quote for an Inground Pool and no one ever showed or called, have you ever heard of a courtesy call? Called the next day and they apologized because the person who does the quotes was extremely busy, I get that, but transparency goes a long way! She assured me Paul would call me the next day to reschedule, lo and behold no call! Very unprofessional in my opinion. I will gladly spend my 40k elsewhere! Thanks for nothing Pool & Patio!
