A customer pricing a Tesla wall connector install wrote in a September 2022 Google review that Poulo Electric came in 35% to 50% under the other electricians they asked, and fitted it on two days' notice. An August 2018 reviewer put it a different way: hundreds of dollars less than the next lowest quote, on a full upgrade from fuses to breakers. George Poulo's Massachusetts electrician licence is active on the state registry. He works with a small crew — reviewers name Nathan, Anne and an apprentice — and the written accounts stretch from 2017 to 2026 across Angi and Google, with Angi and HomeAdvisor both carrying 4.7 stars from the same 58 ratings. The quote is what people keep writing about, and not only that it is low. An April 2026 customer called it good honest business: the estimate was free, the quote fair, and the amount charged exactly what was quoted. A homeowner having their main load panel replaced in June 2024 said he gave a firm quote and stuck to it, and a March 2026 reviewer called him affordable compared to others and thorough in explaining what he was doing. A March 2021 homeowner said he came out to estimate, promised a call on a Wednesday morning, and when pressed for a time kept saying "in the morning". A July 2019 reviewer described missed appointments, arrivals without a call first, work handed to an employee and left unchecked, and two holes in the kitchen floor that he told them he did not know how to fix. Other customers describe the opposite experience. An October 2024 homeowner chasing a bathroom fan install said Poulo called back, kept in touch and did the job cleanly and quickly. An August 2018 reviewer credited him with returning calls, keeping appointments and finishing on time; when a thunderstorm pushed a job that same month, the homeowner got a call ahead of it. If what you need is a panel upgrade, an EV charger, a fan or an outlet, and price matters most, Poulo is worth the call — the quotes people describe are low and they hold. Settle the scheduling first: agree the appointment and the callback time in writing before the work starts.
