Southwick Electric, Inc. is an electrical contractor. Its website says it offers everything from electrical maintenance contracts to new construction services, and its Angi profile describes commercial and industrial services throughout the Massachusetts and Connecticut areas. A 2021 customer said that after the main breaker fried early on the Friday of Labor Day weekend, Southwick Electric had a crew at the house in 90 minutes, took out the old panel and breakers, put in a new panel and tied in the important circuits. A 2024 customer wrote that the company wired in a generator two years earlier, and that when the generator was started for the first time only half the house had power. In that 2024 review, the customer said Brian reported that only one of two junction boxes had been connected. That 2024 customer said they spoke with Lou three times and Brian twice to no avail, and had not received a call back on a later message.

First time calling due to a problem with smoke detectors and their response was immediate. Great work by Brian, easy to talk to about my electrical issue. Thanks! I will recommend Southwick Electric to my neighbors.
aI had an exceptional experience with Southwick Electric. Brian and his apprentice, Kannon, were an absolute pleasure to work with. They arrived right on time, worked efficiently and demonstrated honesty and expertise throughout the job. Although the original appointment had to be rescheduled, Lou, the owner, went out of his way to ensure everything was handled smoothly by having Sharon, who called me after hours, to reschedule for early the next morning. Sharon was also so kind and helpful with the reschedule. And sure enough, Brian and Kannon showed up exactly as promised. Brian went above and beyond to deliver excellent service. He was so knowledgeable, polite and genuinely committed to his work. I truly appreciate his professionalism and dedication. I HIGHLY recommend them all!!!
Technician Nate was outstanding, great representative for your company! Kudos Southwick Electric, we will certainly continue to use your services!
Notice their slogan doesn't say reliable! "Looking for a prompt, professional, and affordable, electrical contractor? Look no further than Southwick Electric, Inc." I hired SWE two years ago to wire in a generator and the job went well until late last year when I started the generator for the first time and only half my house had power. I reached out to Lou (owner) and he sent Brian out to look at it. Brian said they only connected to one of my two junction boxes and that he would have to check with Lou on how to proceed. Since that day I've spoken to Lou three times and Brian twice but to no avail. I last left a message a few weeks ago with Lou (THE OWNER) and have not received a call back from either Lou or Brian. I guess once they have your money their content?
Awesome! The gentleman that I spoke to on the phone was able to give me advice that fixed my circuit breaker issue and saved me tons of money. If I need any future electrical work done I would definitely consider them they seem very helpful and professional. Thank you guys!
