Powell Electric Inc. is an electrical contractor whose website describes its mission as providing safe, reliable and affordable electrical services to its community. On its BBB page the company says it offers residential and commercial electrical contractor services, and its website states it gives free estimates. Kenneth C Powell, Jr holds New Hampshire electrician license 2669, active on the state registry. A 2023 Google customer said Dan and his crew finished a project at their house. That customer wrote that he squeezed in a fairly large job on short notice and that it was all done in one day for a price they called very fair. The BBB lists an A+ grade, and Google shows 5 stars from 6 ratings.
Typical your area range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Powell Electric Inc.. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range
$530 – $1,100
Typical electrical project around $820
Dan and his crew just finished a project at my house and they did an excellent job. He squeezed in a fairly large job for me with short notice and they got it all done in one day for a very fair price. Would absolutely recommend them going forward.
