Prime Roofing, LLC

An October 2026 Google reviewer got five quotes before choosing Prime Roofing; another compared six contractors; an August 2026 customer collected four. All three say they were glad they picked this Wallingford, Connecticut roofer. Prime Roofing replaces and repairs roofs and also does gutters, siding and storm-damage work, and its site lists a service area running from New Haven and Hamden up to Hartford, Bristol and Plainville. The company says it has been in business 14 years. Two names recur in the reviews: Angel and Julio. The largest job described is a July 2026 full exterior rework Angel's team ran: demolition including a chimney chip-down, new plywood across the whole house, housewrap, reframed porch roofs and window openings, insulation board, vinyl siding, GAF shingles, windows and gutters. In a June 2026 review, a homeowner says Julio handled a March 2024 wind-storm roof claim with their insurance adjuster, meeting the adjuster on site and gathering the photos and measurements, then came back in June 2026 to reroute two downspouts around a new deck and install gutter guards. Speed is part of it. A May 2026 customer says Angel's crew replaced the roof in one day and cleaned the gutters; an October 2026 reviewer says Julio's crew finished a new roof in two days. A September 2026 homeowner says a deck that had leaked into the garage for years, which a few other companies could not fix, was repaired, and another says Angel caulked a leaking roof vent at no charge. A September 2026 repair customer says the crew went past the estimate to fix the roof while keeping the original price. Several reviewers mention photo or drone updates: one October 2026 customer received pictures from tear-off to finish, and a September 2026 gutter customer was shown drone pictures before the estimate. In a 2024 review, a homeowner with tornado and storm damage says Angel photographed the roof and found the previous roofer had not installed it as contracted. It holds 5 stars from 128 Google ratings and 5.0 from six Thumbtack ratings, with 122 reviews on file from 2023 to 2026. The BBB rates it A+ and lists it as accredited. Its Connecticut home improvement registration, HIC.0643786, is active and held by Prime Roofing LLC.
