Prism House Painting, LLC

Prism House Painting is a Monroe painting company whose written reviews run from 2016 to 2019, and they split between finished jobs customers liked and appointments that went wrong. HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 4.3 stars from 30 ratings; Google shows 3.5 from 4. The good accounts are about paint and small carpentry. In a December 2019 Angi review, a customer wrote that the crew and Alex completed an outdoor painting job with a plan they kept to as closely as possible despite unfavorable weather. A February 2017 reviewer said they had hired Alex and his team at least twice for major interior and exterior painting and some minor carpentry, and an April 2017 customer described a new backyard fence the crew completed in a matter of days. In May 2016, a customer wrote that Alex came out for an estimate, called back with it within 48 hours, and finished the job ahead of schedule. The complaints are about follow-through. A May 2016 reviewer wrote that after paying in full, the company never came back to rehang one gate three months later, despite calls, texts and messages. Another May 2016 reviewer said they had asked for glossy light beige to match the wall and got flat white instead. In December 2016, a customer wrote that Alex never showed up for a scheduled estimate appointment or called to reschedule, and a May 2017 customer described a crew that arrived hours late without a courtesy call, then left to buy the window before installing it — while saying the work itself was well done. Connecticut lists its home improvement registration HIC.0559243, held by Prism House Painting LLC, as inactive due to non-renewal of the credential.
