Private Power Services, LLC works on the private side of the power line: poles, line extensions and service wire. Its website lists new powerline construction and installation, power line extension, maintenance and repair, service poles and truss setting, and the company says it has been in business 11 years. Its BBB page shows an A+ grade and accreditation. A recent Google customer said they used the company to install poles at their new build and that it was fast and affordable. A recent review signed by the Arundel Homes Crew said the company has many times responded immediately to their requests. A 2025 customer who needed a pole placed at a spec home property said Private Power turned out to be quite a bit cheaper than CMP, and that the people they dealt with kept them updated on the process. A 2024 customer said Hector and his crew came out for a site visit within a week, organized a plan, installed two poles, one of them in ledge, and ran the service wire. That 2024 customer said it was the fifth project the company had done for them. A 2024 reviewer wrote that Hector and his crew installed four poles and ran wire into their property. On Reddit in 2025, a commenter said they got a few quotes and went with the company, and that Hector, the owner, answered the phone and came to look at the site within a week. A 2023 customer said their job dragged out for reasons unrelated to Hector, and that once they were ready, Hector's team showed up as planned and did the work at the price quoted. A 2023 review described a power pole and line installed at the Turner Athletic Associations Caldwell Field Complex. A 2022 customer said the Christmas storms of 2022 knocked out their privately owned utility pole. That 2022 customer said that, although they were technically outside the company's service area, two workers came out the next morning, set the pole in a tricky spot, dug it deep, and charged a reasonable price.
“I got a few quotes, and went with the company called - private power service Hector is the owners name, he answers the phone, sets a time that works and comes to look at your site with in a week.”
