Tim and Nicole Fiorillo run the company out of Franklin — incorporated in 2003, the site says, as a fine carpentry and woodworking firm before it moved into design-build additions, major renovations and custom homes. The written accounts run 2007 to 2018: four Angi reviews, which HomeAdvisor republishes as the same 4.0 from four, and one Houzz review. In 2011 a homeowner described a second-story addition in Westwood and called Tim and his crew thorough and reliable, with high-quality work. The 2018 Houzz reviewer put it another way — reliable, honest and accountable, "a real rarity" — and a 2016 post on a local business directory called the craftsmanship the best that writer had seen from a contractor. The one dissent is also the oldest. In 2007 a customer called the experience a mixed bag: easy to talk to, but not prioritizing projects, and occasionally not delivering on promises, while allowing that the prices were reasonable for major and minor work alike. That is a 2007 account of scheduling rather than a current one, but with a two-person company running an addition, the schedule is a fair thing to pin down in advance. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #138181, is active on the state registry, and the BBB has listed it as accredited since 3/16/2012 at an A+. Angi and HomeAdvisor list a Massachusetts trade licence, CS-082703, and the company states on both that it is licensed as a Lead-Safe Renovation Contractor, which matters on an older house. For a design-build addition or a custom home around Franklin, this is a long-established shop with a small crew and a taste for substantial projects. Ask for a written schedule with milestones, confirm the construction supervisor licence on the contract, and find out who is running the site day to day.
